Airbus’ five A350-900 test aircraft took to the skies for an impressive formation flight on 29 September 2014. These A350 XWB jetliners accumulated a combined total of more than 2,600 flight test hours during the successful campaign leading to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Type Certification for this next-generation widebody.
This short reel for aerial cinematographer Roger Tonry is a compilation of footage shot from Clay Lacy’s Astrovision equipped Lear Jet, Wolfe Air’s Vectorvision jet, and even a modified B-25 bomber from the Planes of Fame. The acquisition formats are equally varied. They range from 35mm film, Red Epic to Arriflex Alexa.

The Airbus A350 of the Airbus Company made a stunning performance at the Farnborough Air Show 2014. It` s always impressive to see civilian planes do incredible stuff during Air Shows. I saw the A350 for the first time and I have to say that I realy like this plane.

Airbus A350-941 F-WZGG making a VERY short field landing, arriving at Cotswold Airport (EGBP) April 2014 – The first landing of an A350 in the United Kingdom.
Using a specially developed camera mount fixed to a runway light, this ‘up-close and personal’ perspective gives a very different view to the short field landing of the new Airbus A350 at Cotswold Airport (Kemble), when it arrived for a period of flight testing at the airport on the 9th April 2014.
